Please be aware that smartphones do not come equipped with built-in Geiger counters and external hardware is required for operation.

The Nuclear Radiation Detector front-end application serves as an interface to be used in conjunction with your DIY Geiger counter or an existing Geiger counter with Arduino connectivity support. The author suggests utilizing an affordable kit for creating a Geiger counter capable of detecting gamma rays within the range of 20mR/h to 120mR/h, and soft beta rays ranging from 100 to 1800 points/cm².
